About Wendy

Wendy’s Grazeland is here to help make your event memorable. From event planning to delivery of an exception experience, creating memories with food is in my DNA.

With a heritage in the Barossa Valley and elders who embodied both the German and Australian marriage of flavours and growing nearly everything we needed in our own backyards to the freshness and abundance of the Fleurieu I have always been inspired to pursue cooking and blaze a trail for female chefs in what has been a male dominated industry for many years.

My life has always been about preparing and sharing food that is unique. I have introduced Australian native cuisine to Thailand in a Woman’s Chefs of the World Invitation and redesigned train travel cuisine for the Southern Pacific dinners across the country.

As Executive Chef for Qantas I prepared cuisine for the First Class cabins of Malaysian, Garuda, Cathay Pacific, JAL, British Airway, Singapore and many many more including the VIP RAAF aircraft flying our dignitaries.

Focussing on creating opportunities for others who are looking for that culinary point of difference at an affordable price and with a unique appeal is my passion.

I can’t help but be excited about fresh produce, from the Fleurieu, my home, extending to the Barossa, my place of heritage.

Utilising the wonderful produce we have on our doorsteps, including the abundance of fresh seafood from our pristine waters and Australian Native produce.

I provide menus specifically tailored to suit each individual event. I combine cuisines to uniquely deliver that wow memory to you and your guests.
